Hollywood actor Idris Elba, having tested positive for the new coronavirus, does not let the disease leave his mind or that of others.
Actor Luther recently recited a hopeful poem titled Don’t Quit by American poet John Greenleaf Whittier, full of positivity and courage, while serving an appropriate message in these catastrophic times of the pandemic world.
The video released by the BBC for those most affected by the infectious disease featured Elba reciting the eponymous poem as a short story about Britain’s fight against Covid-19 played against it.
“When things go wrong as they sometimes will; when the road you’re trudging seems all uphill; when the funds are low but the debts are high; when you want to smile but you have to sigh; when care is pressing you down a bit, rest if you must but don’t you quit,” Elba .
A message from all of us, to all of you. Together we’ll get through.
